Newest Research Brief Highlights CJA’s Manhattan Supervised Released Program

CJA is starting off 2017 with Research Brief #42, a summary of recent research that demonstrates the potential jail displacement effects of community supervision as an alternative to money bail and pretrial detention in selected non-violent felony cases.  The Brief highlights findings from a study that compared CJA’s Manhattan Supervised Release clients with non-participant defendants and cases with similar characteristics.
